Background Information

All information pertaining to Noah Schmidt's background and service history has been documented and written without recent confirmation of the validity of the information. This was necessary due to the circumstances that affect Schmidt's ability to recollect his past. All post-transfer records, including operational reports, pschological and medical records, and personal evaluations will be compiled by himself. For this reason, this information should not be taken as the whole truth; it is only what information Command has had compiled over his years of service.

Noah J. Schmidt was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas. Due to unknown circumstances, his parents passed away in his early teenage years. Subsequently, his grandparents, unnamed, assumed custody while accepting help of neighbors to take care of him until Schmidt decided to move away for unknown reasons. His early civilian life remains severely undocumented but is considered to not be related to any previously ongoing operations.

Schmidt enlisted into the Chaos Insurgency while traveling independently through Eastern Europe. His recruitment was completely voluntary after he was informed of the risk involved. Initial service records place Schmidt within the forward operating areas during stages of the Occult War, where he was repeatedly exposed to anomalous threats and irregular combat conditions. His performance resulted in being recognized by Command, and further evaluations would assess his loyalty to the Insurgency.

Following his continued service, Schmidt was selected for Dreadnaught training at the recommendation of Commander Delta. Training evaluations noted his increased operational urgency, resiliance, and a willingness to act in situations where hesitiation was the common reaction. These traits existed past his time in training, and have since evolved during his deployment to Cell Omega-2.

Schmidt displays persistent emotional responses to specific command authorities and historical references that are not supported by his personal recollection. These responses do not impair his operational effectiveness and are not considered to be heavily impactful on his day-to-day activities at Cell Omega-2. Earlier assumptions on Schmidt's internal motiviations have since been altered based on his experiences during this deployment.

Transfer to Cell Omega-2 was authorized under Commander Delta's authority following the removal of a previous Commando stationed at the Cell. Service within Cell Omega-2 will continue given the operational mandate and tolerance for non-standard interactions.

Once I was transferred to Cell Omega-2, my understanding of the anomalous world was altered severely. Omega-2, the fuck ups, the ones who get the hand-me-downs, are now all I am worried about. This Cell, and what impacts it, are now a part of me. This place is not a prison, although it may be a punishment, it's an environment that will break down the strongest Insurgents and turn them into well-disciplined and knowledgeable machines. There is no room for error here, and I will live up to my role to act when there is no room for delay. I will do what must be done, for the Insurgency, for humanity to have the power to take back control over their lives.

Colonel Sulfur

Main Army listens to you, never lose your grit.

You know when to hold your ground, but you need to learn when it's time to compromise.

Incident Reports

Schmidt was given orders by what he perceived to be the Cell Commander, 'Anhedonia', to retrieve an artifact. This was not truly the Commander, and suspicion of someone being a false figure of authority should be reported immediately.

Schmidt continues to experiment with new topics and is driven to learn as much as he safely can in order to protect all of those around him.
